A Military Thank You

"... Today I received several care packages from the Appleton Area School District. Many children from several of the different schools wrote cards and letters and there were even lots of corny jokes all bundled up in the boxes with beef jerky, gum, microwave popcorn, jolly ranchers, candy, etc, etc. It was a very nice gift and I'll be sharing them with the soldiers. I want to thank all of those kids for taking the time to write and send the items.

It was extremely thoughtful and I and the soldiers here truly appreciate what they have done.

In case you were wondering, here was my most favorite corny joke. 'What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back? A stick.'

Thank you very much.

Be well, take care of each other and God bless."
